james eric jones is an art director and graphic designer who, for the last
decade or two, has made his home in paris, moscow, oslo, and stockholm.
this blog is dedicated to his latest work—mostly digital and print projects at firebrand, a creative studio he began in 2006 that focuses on corporate identity, brand building and custom publication design.

with 20 years of experience in magazine design, mostly at fashion and lifestyle titles, eric brings his expertise and talent to task for a panoply of clients,
from big international players like martini, dunhill, and johnnie walker to the little local brands, internet startups and boutique entrepreneurs.

the arc of eric's editorial career—starting with the launch of elle russia in 1995—places him at the foundations of magazine publishing in moscow, and gave him the opportunity to create or recreate almost every noteworthy magazine on the market. if you would like to see more of his editorial work—at elle, vogue, jalouse, harper's bazaar, gq, grazia—you'll find a collection of his magazine covers and page designs at www.firemanifest.com.

send all comments, queries and ambitious proposals to eric@firemanifest.com.
please don't hesitate to ask questions—he'd love to work with you.
